MONDAY 25TH MAY REVISED TRAINING SESSIONS WILL RECOMMENCE
IMPORTANT: Please read this in its entirity all this information applied to you and it’s important you follow the procedure
With the ever-changing landscape of personal interactions due to Covid-19, we have seen a delay in the official 2020 season of football throughout the country. Though this was not an ideal situation, it was inevitable for the safety of all in our community. The committee would like to thank you all for your patience, perseverance and loyalty during this time.
With the easing of restrictions throughout Western Australia, EUFC Committee members have been working closely with Football West and the City of Swan to put a plan in place for the safe return to training of players and coaches.
Incorporating social distancing, personal health care and safety, we have a new revised training plan which will be in effect for the first 4 weeks and will be revised as required during and after that time.
We ask that all parents and members please thoroughly read through the information we set out so we can enjoy seamless as possible training sessions.
PLAYER REQUIREMENTS
For a player to return to training the following must be completed:
- Completion of the EUFC COVID SURVEY (digital) which was previously emailed out and is also available on the website and Facebook page.
- Player fee’s are to be paid in full (if not already done)
CHANGES TO HOW WE OPERATE
To keep in line with regulations and protocols, a new format of attendance is to be strictly adhered to. This means we are adopting a GET IN / TRAIN / GET OUT format for player arrival and departure at the grounds. Teams have a set arrival/start and finish/departure timeframe to follow. This ensures that there are no clusters of teams waiting and congregating around the grounds.
Some training times and nights have changed. Please check on the TRAINING TIMETABLE below or ask your coach or team manager if you are not sure.
DROP OFF / PICK UP
A parent (one only) is to drop their child at the designated area for their pitch no earlier than advised. The parent may then stay within their vehicle until training finishes. If a parent is to be outside the vehicle, they are to ensure safe social distancing at all times and not cluster in groups unnecessarily.
Carpark 2 (playground end) is for those using pitches 2 & 3 and Carpark 1 for those using pitches 1 & 4. The same scenario is to be followed for pick up at the end of training. Children are not to be left wandering out trying to find their parent in a carpark. Prompt collection of your child at the end of training is imperative.
If your child is older and makes their own way down to training, please advise that they can only arrive at their designated time and must depart straight after training finishes.
A map is attached so you can see the layout of the grounds which includes gate access for each pitch.
PITCH ACCESS
Each team will enter and exit their pitch area through a designated gate. No other persons or players are to use this gate during this time. Please see attached map for gate access. No parents are allowed pitch side.
Players and coaches are to use the HAND SANITISER STATION inside their gate upon entering and departing the pitch.
At the finish of training ALL PLAYERS, COACHES AND PARENTS MUST DEPART THE GROUNDS/FACILITY IMMEDIATELY. We have allowed a 15min window between training sessions to ensure there are no crossover of teams accessing the grounds.
We have a limited capacity number allowed at the grounds at any given time and this will be checked on by authorities with random spot checks.
TINY TEKKERS
Our Tiny Tekkers program will go ahead but will commence once full contact has been approved. We are working to ensure our Tekkers have a great season and we’re all excited to see them all learning new skills. Tekker parents will receive an update email closer to their program start.
CHANGEROOM / TOILET FACILITIES
The City of Swan has agreed to open up only the disabled toilet during training. This will only be available for use for those at training. No public toilets or use of changerooms will be available over the next 4 (four) weeks.

If everyone works together and follows the rather simple procedure, we can keep this schedule running smoothly over the next four weeks. We are all looking forward to the next phase when further restrictions are lifted.
Stay safe!
